The city of Nurnberg Germany is situated South of Hamburg and Southeast of Dusseldorf. Nurnberg Germany is in the German state of Bavaria and it was a key trade route until the late 1500s.  

  

With over 500,000 people in the city of Nurnberg today, there is no doubt the influence of the city and it’s people is felt all across Germany. This influence is not new. Even in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, Nurnberg was the seat of the German renaissance.  

  

The city of Nurnberg Germany, once known as Nuremberg, was home to the first German railroad, which began its run in the mid-1800s. But if you recall your history lessons, you will know Nurnberg well as the home of the Nazi party conventions where the party scheduled and held numerous propaganda events, growing in size and intensity as Hitler gained power. Later the city of Nuremberg became famous for the Soviet war crimes trials which tired and convicted Nazi war criminals.  

  

Today, Nurnberg is an industrial city, active in manufacturing optical and mechanical products, technology products, automobiles and medical equipment.

In spite of the destruction experienced during World War II, Nurnberg still has plenty of inspiring architecture to satisfy the most avid photographer. The Nurnberg medieval fair and annual Christmas market attracts tourists from all corners of the world.  

  

Nurnberg is convenient to the Autobahn, railways and airports so you will find it easy to get to the city. Nurnberg also has a train, tram and bus metro system to help you get around the city and visit the various attractions. Nurnberg is a modern German city with a deep, rich history.
